Service Description

Curious about 3D printing or just bought a printer and want the basics explained clearly? This is a hands-on beginner course designed to build real confidence with FDM 3D printing — without drowning you in jargon. Course format 2 sessions × 4 hours (8 hours total) Book once → you’re enrolled in both sessions Maximum 3 attendees per course run (plenty of support and time for questions) What you’ll learn Understanding your Slicer: what it does and how it fits into the print workflow The core settings that affect print quality and reliability How to analyse previews before you print Getting the first layer right Choosing materials for the best results (e.g., PLA vs PETG basics) Colour changes/“colour painting” (AMS or manual filament changes) Troubleshooting common issues + basic maintenance (no part replacements) What’s included Printed workshop slides notebook (so you can take notes) Glossary sent before the course (to make the lingo less painful) 3DGT “0.2 starter” slicer profile emailed after the workshop 3DQF filament profile emailed after the workshop
