Workshop Terms & Conditions — Intro to 3D Printing (FDM)

1) Booking and payment
Your place is confirmed only once full payment has been received.
This workshop is sold as a 2-session course (2 × 4 hours). Your booking covers both sessions.
2) Who can attend
18+ only. By booking, you confirm you are 18 or over.
3) Course dates and attendance
You are booking a specific course run with set dates/times. Please check you can attend both sessions before booking.
If you miss Session 1, you cannot attend Session 2, as the course builds on Session 1.
4) Cancellations and refunds (customer)
Because spaces are limited (max 3 attendees per course run), bookings are non-refundable unless we cancel the course run (see section 5).
If you can’t attend, we will do our best to move your booking to a future course run if you give at least 7 calendar days’ notice before Session 1, subject to availability.
Transfers must be used within 3 months of the original Session 1 date.
If you contact us with less than 7 days’ notice, we may still be able to help only if we can fill your place, but this is not guaranteed.
5) Cancellations and changes (by 3DGT)
If we cancel a course run or session, you can choose either:
a full refund, or
a transfer to a future course run (subject to availability).
6) Transfers (Session 2 issues)
If you attend Session 1 but can’t attend Session 2, we may be able to transfer you to a later run (within the 3-month window), subject to availability.
We can’t guarantee a like-for-like date/time option.
Transfers apply to a future run of the same workshop (Intro to 3D Printing).
7) Discount codes and offers
Discount codes are valid for workshop bookings only and cannot be used in-store or against other purchases.
Discount codes cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be combined with any other offer.
If we transfer your booking to a later run (within 3 months, subject to availability), any valid discount used for that booking can move with it.
Multi-seat bookings: discount codes apply to one place only per booking. If you book more than one place, the discount is applied once and the remaining places are charged at the standard rate.
Public £5 code limits (if used)
The public £5 discount code is limited to 30 uses and is valid until 30 April 2026 (whichever happens first).
8) Contact preferences
You can contact us by whichever method you prefer (email, phone, social message).
We will reply using your preferred contact method where possible.
We may use your phone number to check you’re OK if you’re running late or don’t arrive.
9) Safety and behaviour
Please follow staff instructions at all times.
Printers may be running during the session. Do not touch printers or tools unless invited and supervised.
Drinks are allowed only in a sealed container / closed bottle and must be kept away from laptops/electrics.
Hot drinks are served during breaks only.
10) Photography and video
We may take photos or short video clips during workshops for 3DGT’s website and social media.
If you’d rather not appear, tell us at the start or contact us in advance and we will ensure you are not included.
11) Personal property
Please look after your own belongings. 3DGT is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought to the workshop.
12) Disputes
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first so we can put it right quickly.
If you paid by card or PayPal, you may also have rights through your payment provider.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
