What We Can Help With

A consultation can cover a wide range of 3D printing topics, including:

  • choosing a printer or setup

  • slicer settings and print preparation

  • print-failure troubleshooting

  • material and filament advice

  • file review and design-for-print guidance

  • beginner-friendly CAD or STL advice

  • workflow and process advice

  • practical next steps based on your setup and goals

If you are not sure whether your question fits, that is fine — the session is there to help you work through it properly.

How the Consultation Works

Consultations are available in person at our shop in Lowestoft or online via Teams.

Where helpful, Vic may use software, example files, or one of our machines to demonstrate what he means. These sessions are mainly advice-led, but they are tailored to your specific problem, setup or goal.

To make the session as useful as possible, we may ask you to send details in advance, such as:

  • printer make and model

  • slicer or software used

  • material used

  • photos or screenshots of the issue

  • files or links where relevant

  • a brief note on what you want help with
