A customer contacted us via WhatsApp with a very specific request for a present for her husband. After a brief chat about what she wanted, we did some research into brick lines to better understand how they’re used, plus the typical shape and size. From that, we were able to give an estimate for design time and a guide price for the final piece.

Once agreed, the customer dropped off a standard brick line corner for us to use as the basis for the design. The fun twist she wanted instantly reminded us of childhood, so it was a very easy “yes” to the project. After a few hours of CAD work we had a printable model. We sent screenshots of the design to the customer, who was delighted with how it looked. To make it even more personal, we suggested debossing her husband’s name on the back in a special font. She chose the colour, and printing began.

The finished product is a corner brick line used as a level reference to help keep walls straight while building – but this one comes with a playful twist: it’s shaped like a famous brick man.
