DND Figures

A D&D player came to us wanting a physical version of their in-game character. They bought and downloaded the STL file from their Hero Forge app and sent it over for us to print.

At only around 6 cm tall and packed with fine detail, the model really pushed the limits of what our FDM printer could do. It included very small parts as well as intricate surface detail, so we had to experiment with settings and supports to get it right.

After several failed attempts, we finally produced a miniature we were genuinely happy with. To protect all that hard work, we also created a custom carry case so it could travel safely to and from game sessions.

The customer was so pleased with the result that they later came back to have their levelled-up character printed too – complete with another custom case.
